Dress Code

18 Hole Course Dress Code

For your guidance the following items of clothing are not considered suitable wear on the 18-Hole Golf Course:-

  • Sleeveless shirts/tops
  • Casual "beachwear" eg Bermuda shorts
  • Tracksuits
  • Jeans.

Please wear collared/sleeved shirts/tops at all times. Shorts are acceptable provided they are tailored and worn with sport socks.

Footwear

Purpose made studded golf shoes must be worn at all times on the 18-Hole golf course (not trainers).  Golf shoes can be purchased or hired from the Golf Shop, if in doubt please enquire at the shop or telephone in advance 01732 364039. 

9 Hole Short Course

More casual dress is acceptable on the 9-Hole course, but golfers will be encouraged to follow the dress code set out above. Ordinary trainers are acceptable especially if this is the first time you have played the 9-Hole course. However studded golf shoes are recommended especially in wet or frosty conditions.   Please wear a shirt at all times. Shorts are acceptable, providing they are smart and not "beachwear"   If you have any questions regarding any of these points, please contact the Golf Shop staff who will be happy to advise.
